Can I bring unofficial transcripts?
No, you must bring an official, sealed transcript from your university registrar’s office to Instant Decision Day.

 

Should I send the official transcript to both AHCAS and bring it to Instant Decision Day or just Instant Decision Day?
You must do both – send the official transcript to AHCAS and bring an official, sealed transcript with you to Instant Decision Day.


 
Do I have to type out every course I have taken when submitting the AHCAS application?
Yes – it is required for your AHCAS to fill out every course you have taken.


 
What do I need to bring with me?
You need to bring your official, sealed transcript (including any WES transcripts) to Instant Decision Day. You should also have submitted an application through AHCAS and paid the $95 application fee, entered all completed and in progress coursework, recommendations and official transcripts through AHCAS prior to Instant Decision Day.


 
Will I get a decision on the spot?
Yes! Your admission advisor will review your transcript and interview you on Instant Decision Day and you may meet with a faculty member as well. At the end, you will receive an admission decision on the spot!


 
Do I need to apply through AHCAS before attending Instant Decision Day?
Yes, you need to be an active applicant in AHCAS before Instant Decision Day. This means you will have paid the $95 application fee, sent your official transcripts to AHCAS, entered all completed and in progress coursework and recommendations in AHCAS.


 
I have ____ amount of prerequisite course I need to take – can I still apply for Instant Decision Day?
You may apply for Instant Decision Day if you have less than three science pre-requisite courses that need to be completed in Summer 2014. If you have more than three science prerequisite courses that need to be completed in Summer 2014, you must apply for a later term.

 

When I click on “Visit Us,” I only see information sessions to sign up for on May 13th and June 11th – how do I sign up for Instant Decision Day?
You can sign up for Instant Decision Day by signing up for the Information Sessions on May 13th or June 11th. You will meet with your admissions counselor after the information session has taken place.
